| This book describes the glorious history of Action Man, from his birth in 1966, through his retirement in 1984, to his relaunch in the nineties. There are lots of interesting and amusing stories about the people who designed Action Man and his outfits and lots of information about the different figures, uniforms, equipment and vehicles. This is not a comprehensive collector's guide (although it is illustrated with numerous full-colour photos) but more a lovingly written account of Action Man's existence. | ||||||||||
