Proving the lasting appeal of quality design the Zoids Shield Liger receives a make over, reincarnated in kit form!
Kicking off Kotobukiya's new Highend Master Model (HMM) range in fine style this 1/72 scale model promises & delivers.
The snap-fit assembly echoes the construction of the old school Tomy Zoids & the parts are molded in colour so no extra
attention is required for building. However there is always room for master craftsmen to apply painted 'field wear' detail
if required. Decals are also provided for further customizationn.
Solid build quality & articulation were obviously high on the agenda when this sucker was at prototype
stage because both make the grade. Once constructed this model will become an irresistible distraction on any shelf top
or display. If it was motorized there would be trouble!
A Shield Liger Desert Type is set for February 2007 release for those seeking an alternative colour scheme. With such a
spectacular start this line promises big things. The Super Robot Wars & Armoured Core ranges would seem to show that
Kotobukiya have no intention of disappointing.
